Finding the Right Battery

How do I know which battery is compatible with my laptop or device?

The most reliable way is to check your device's model number, which is usually printed on a sticker on the bottom of your laptop or inside the battery compartment. You can also find it in your system settings (e.g., System Information on Mac, or System Properties on Windows). Once you have the model number, use it to search our store or contact us and we'll confirm compatibility before you order.

Can I use the battery part number to find a replacement?

Yes — the part number printed on your existing battery (e.g., A1582, PA5109U-1BRS) is the most direct way to find an exact match. Enter it in our search bar or send it to us at order@storeshoppe.com and we'll verify it for you.

What if my device model has multiple battery options?

Some laptop lines use different batteries depending on the production year or configuration. If you're unsure, please share your full model number and the part number from your existing battery — that combination gives us everything we need to confirm the right fit.

Do you guarantee compatibility?

Yes. If a battery we supplied is not compatible with the device model you specified at the time of purchase, we will replace it or issue a full refund. Please double-check your model number before ordering to ensure accuracy.

OEM vs. Aftermarket Batteries

What is the difference between OEM and aftermarket batteries?

OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) batteries are made by or for the original device brand (e.g., Apple, Dell, Lenovo). They are guaranteed to match the original specifications exactly but are typically more expensive.

Aftermarket batteries are produced by third-party manufacturers to meet or exceed OEM specifications. Quality aftermarket batteries — like the ones we carry — undergo independent safety testing and offer a cost-effective alternative without sacrificing performance.

Are aftermarket batteries safe?

Yes, when they carry the right certifications. Our batteries are CE, RoHS, and UN38.3 certified, meaning they have passed international safety and transport standards. We do not sell uncertified or counterfeit batteries.

Will an aftermarket battery void my device warranty?

In most regions, using a third-party battery does not automatically void your device warranty under consumer protection laws (e.g., the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act in the US, or EU Directive 1999/44/EC). However, if the battery causes damage, the manufacturer may deny warranty claims for that damage. We recommend checking your device manufacturer's policy if this is a concern.

Battery Safety & Certifications

What safety certifications do your batteries carry?

Our batteries are certified to the following standards:

  • CE – European conformity for electrical safety
  • RoHS – Restriction of hazardous substances
  • UN38.3 – International transport safety standard for lithium batteries

Certification documentation is available on request — email us at order@storeshoppe.com.

How should I store and handle my replacement battery?

  • Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  • Do not puncture, crush, or expose to water.
  • Use the battery with the correct charger for your device.
  • Do not leave the battery charging unattended for extended periods.
  • Dispose of old batteries at an approved electronics recycling point — do not throw in household waste.

What should I do if my battery swells or overheats?

Stop using the device immediately. A swollen or overheating battery can be a safety hazard. Remove the battery if it is safe to do so, place it in a cool open area away from flammable materials, and contact us at order@storeshoppe.com. Do not attempt to puncture or dispose of it in regular trash.

Warranty

What warranty do your batteries come with?

All batteries come with a 12-month warranty from the date of delivery, covering manufacturing defects and premature capacity loss under normal use conditions.

What is not covered by the warranty?

The warranty does not cover:

  • Physical damage caused by drops, liquid exposure, or improper installation
  • Normal capacity degradation over time (all lithium batteries lose capacity with charge cycles)
  • Damage caused by using an incompatible charger or device
  • Batteries that have been modified or tampered with

How do I make a warranty claim?

Email order@storeshoppe.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos if applicable. We'll respond within 1–2 business days with next steps.

Shipping

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes — we offer free worldwide shipping on all orders up to 20 kg.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Because batteries are classified as dangerous goods, shipping may take slightly longer than standard parcels. Estimated delivery times by region:

  • Asia: 5–20 business days (Japan/Korea: 7–15 days)
  • North America: 10–20 business days (Canada: 20–35 days)
  • Europe: 15–30 business days
  • Brazil/Chile: 15–35 business days
  • Russia: 20–35 business days
  • Israel: 25–45 business days

Why does battery shipping sometimes take longer?

Lithium batteries are regulated as dangerous goods by international aviation authorities. Some countries restrict or prohibit air transport for standalone batteries, which means shipments may travel by sea or alternative routes, adding to transit time. We always ship via the fastest available compliant method.

How do I track my order?

Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking number. You can track your shipment at 17track.net. For any tracking issues, contact us at order@storeshoppe.com or WhatsApp +86 135 9048 6819.

Returns & Refunds

What is your return policy?

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. Items must be in their original condition and packaging with proof of purchase. Please see our full Refund Policy for details.

Who pays for return shipping?

If the return is due to our error (wrong item sent, defective product), we cover return shipping. For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Non-defective returns may also be subject to a 15% restocking fee.

How long does a refund take?

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, approved refunds are processed within 10 business days back to your original payment method.

Can I return a battery I've already installed and used?

Yes, as long as it is within the 30-day return window and the battery has not been physically damaged. If the battery is defective, it is also covered under our 12-month warranty regardless of whether it has been installed.
