NiMH Battery Packs for Medical, Industrial and Specialty Equipment
Nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) battery packs power many medical devices, industrial remote controls, control systems and instruments. When a pack no longer holds a charge, the equipment can shut down early or show low-battery warnings. Store Shoppe supplies replacement NiMH battery packs for a wide range of equipment, so you can find a match by device model or part number.

How to Choose the Right NiMH Battery Pack
- Find the part number printed on your current battery and search for it in the store.
- Match the voltage. A NiMH cell is rated at 1.2V, so pack voltages are multiples of that, such as 2.4V, 3.6V, 4.8V, 6V, 7.2V, 8.4V, 9.6V or 12V. The voltage must match your original pack.
- Check capacity (mAh or Ah) and the pack's shape and connector on the product page.
- Confirm your device model is on the compatibility list. If anything is unclear, send us a photo of your battery label and we will help you check.
Before You Install
Follow your equipment manufacturer's instructions and your site's safety procedures when replacing batteries, especially in medical and industrial equipment. Use the charger supplied for your device, and do not charge a NiMH pack with a charger designed for a different battery chemistry.

NiMH Battery FAQ
What's the difference between NiMH and NiCd batteries?
NiMH batteries do not contain cadmium and usually offer higher capacity than NiCd batteries of the same size. Devices are designed for a specific chemistry, so always match your original battery. You can also browse our NiCd batteries.
Do you sell standard AA or AAA NiMH cells?
Our NiMH range focuses on device-specific replacement battery packs. For individual cells or custom packs, see our battery cells or contact us with your requirements.
Can I replace a NiMH pack with a Li-ion battery?
Only if your device manufacturer specifies it. Different chemistries use different voltages and charging methods, so always match the original battery type.
How long does a NiMH battery pack last?
It depends on usage, charging habits and temperature, but NiMH packs typically last several hundred charge cycles. NiMH batteries also lose charge when stored unused, so a pack left on a shelf may need recharging before use.
What are the warranty and return terms?
Every battery comes with a one-year warranty and free returns within 14 days. See our refund policy and shipping policy.
