1. Is this P09823-07 adapter compatible with my laptop?
Please compare the output voltage and current (for example, 19.5V 9.23A), the power rating (W), and the DC connector size and polarity with the label on your original adapter. The output voltage must match your original adapter, and the current (A) and wattage must be equal to or higher than the original. If you're unsure, send us your laptop model or a photo of your original adapter label and we'll help confirm compatibility before you order.
2. Is this an original or a replacement adapter?
Unless a product is clearly labeled "Genuine" or "OEM" on its page, it is a replacement adapter, not an original manufacturer product. Our replacement adapters are designed to match OEM specifications and are tested for performance, safety, and reliability before shipping.
3. Is it safe to use a higher-wattage adapter than my original?
Yes, as long as the output voltage and connector match. Your laptop only draws the current it needs, so an adapter with the same voltage and a higher current or wattage rating is safe to use. However, an adapter with a lower wattage than your original may overheat or fail to power the laptop properly, and we do not recommend it.
4. Does the adapter come with a warranty?
Yes. Every P09823-07 adapter comes with a one-year warranty from the date of delivery. If you have a problem during this period, contact our support team and we'll arrange a replacement or another suitable solution. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, physical impact, liquid exposure, cable damage from bending or pulling, or use with an incompatible device.
5. Does the adapter come with a power cord?
Please check the product description and images for what is included. If a power cord is included, we ship a cord suitable for your destination. If you have any question about the plug type for your country, contact us before ordering.
6. How long does shipping take?
Most orders ship within 1–2 business days. Estimated delivery is 5–20 business days to Asia, 10–20 to North America, and 15–30 to Europe and South America. These are estimates only. Please see the Shipping & Tracking Information above or our Shipping Policy for details.
7. Is the adapter safe to use?
Safety is a priority. Every adapter goes through quality control and function testing before shipping, and our adapters include protection against over-voltage, over-current, short circuit, and overheating where applicable. For safe use, keep the adapter in a ventilated area, do not cover it while in use, avoid exposure to water, and stop using it if the casing or cable is damaged. Never open or modify the adapter.
8. Do I need to do anything after receiving the adapter?
No setup is required. Connect the adapter to your laptop and plug it into a wall outlet. The adapter body may feel warm during normal use, which is normal. If your laptop shows a "non-genuine adapter" or "unable to determine power rating" message on startup, this is a common notice on some models and does not usually affect charging. Contact us if you need help.
9. What should I do if the adapter is not working properly?
First, check that the wall outlet works, the connector is fully inserted, and the cable connections are secure. If the problem continues, please contact us at order@storeshoppe.com with your order number, laptop model, and a description of the issue (photos or videos are welcome). We'll respond quickly and arrange a replacement if necessary.
10. Can I return or exchange the product?
Yes. You can request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. The item must be in the same condition as received, unused, and in its original packaging. Please contact us at order@storeshoppe.com before sending anything back, as returns sent without prior approval cannot be accepted.
